The Dream of becoming Miss America will happen for one lucky contestant in January 2010.  There are 6 unlucky people that have been tasked with the job of choosing just one.  Judges for Miss America 2010 is diverse including a Diva, Queen, Guru, Star, Card, Funny Man, and an Idol.  This year panel, in my opinion, is going to produce an unlikely winner.  She is sure to be a great Miss America, but with such varied resumes, this year’s Miss America pageant is sure to keep you guessing to the end.

Below is the line up, why they are wonderful and we don’t know what to expect.

Judges for Miss America 2010

The Diva – Vivica A. Fox

This lady is not only a cougar, but a lion and a bear too! She’s fierce! Vivica has a long list of awards, movies, and show. Among my favorites is Two Can Play That.  Fox understands what that special something is because she definitely has it.  She going to pick the girl whose got that FIRE!

The Queen – Katie Harman

As Miss America 2002, Katie is the Queen turned opera singer.  She knows the job and the stuff they don’t want to tell you about the job. With this unique perspective, Katie is sure to pick a contestant that can handle all the issues not just the one with the voice.

The Fitness Guru – Shawn Johnson

Ms. Johnson won the 2008 Gold Medal in gymnastics, so he knows a thing or two about great form.  Not only does she heat it up on the bars, but she burned up the dance floor as the youngest dancer ever on Dancing with the Stars. She’s got it and knows how to use it. She won’t be fooled by fakers.

The Star – Dave Koz

This guy is a 6 time Grammy-nominated star as an instrumentalist.  He has his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! With his own national Jazz Radio Show, he will be able to spot a Queen that dances (or sings) to her own beat. You can forget about this pageant judge being razzled and dazzled.

The Wild Card – Rush Limbaugh

There are a great many (four-letter) words that can be used to describe Rush. 20 million people tune into his conservative talk radio show so clearly somebody likes him. Oddly, nominated for a Nobel Peace Price in 2007, this Miss America judge will keep each contestant on her toes with controversial issues.

The Funny Man – Paul Rodriguez

For over 20 years, Paul has joked his way into the hearts and home of Americans with his Stand Up Comedy and countless films. A true philanthropist, Mr. Rodriguez, take his charity work with platforms such as water conservation very seriously. He will be able to get down to the heart of the matter, and check their funny bones as well.

The Idol – Brooke White

Singer/Songwriter Brooke White is most well known for her appearance on American Idol. Although, White is a bit of a newbie, she knows original and won’t let Pageant Patti slide by.

Have fun with your own Miss America favorites. Every girl won her state for a reason so it’s really anybody’s game. That is the fun part!
