Miss Venezuela Stefania Fernandez won Miss Universe 2009! Fernandez who is 18-years-old is the second Miss Venezuela to win the Miss Universe title two years in a row. This is the first time in the history of the Miss Universe Pageant that two consecutive winners were from the same country. Stefania Fernandez’s ethnicity is a mixture of Russian, Ukrainian, Galician and Polish.

I so thought Miss Puerto Rico should have placed higher than that! Her onstage answer was great…She was my favorite.
