My dad and I were talking out in the garage yesterday and he said after sharing a story about my feisty mother, “I don’t care what any man says. If he says that he is in charge of his household he is lying.”

Just as men do not control their household, you cannot control the judges or the outcome of the pageant. Do your best to study the beliefs and doctrines of your appointed judges but at the end of the day realize that you cannot control how the judges choose.

Pageant Judges Are Out to Get You

And if you think that the judges are out to get you…you are right…if you are the queen. So if the judges do not pick you its not because you are too old, too young, too short or too fat (well, maybe that one). The judges pick who they believe will be a good queen. And they are out to get her. Trust me…you want the judges who are out to get you. That is what pageantry is all about.

So there you have it…women control the home, judges control the pageant and you control yourself…only.
