Nicole Arnett, Miss Alabama US International was interviewed by thepageantplanet.com to find out some insider tips on how to prepare for the swimsuit competition. Below are Nicole Arnett’s thoughts and comments regarding the questions that we asked.
What was your thought process when you selected your swimsuit?
The first thing I looked for when deciding on a swimsuit was the cut of the swimsuit with special emphasis on bottoms. I like for the bathing suit bottom to have a high cut because it elongates the leg and looks fabulous on stage. And with the top I normally go with a halter style with thinner straps. You can’t really go wrong with a halter-top it looks great on both smaller and larger breasted girls. As for the color, I normally go for pink, black or teal because it looks best with my skin tone and hair color.
Did you follow a workout plan?
I pretty much did my own workout plan. My number one rule is always cardio. I absolutely hate to run so I usually do spin class once or twice a week and then 5 miles on the elliptical 3 times a week. Then I focused about 45 minutes on arms, legs, or abs. I always keep the weight low but I do about 3 or 4 sets of 12. With swimwear you want to basically flatten and tighten your body. Whenever a girl walks across the stage you’re going to see every part move that isn’t tight. In my opinion I think the parts to focus on the most are thighs, butt, and abs.
Any swimsuit preparation tips?
Definitely stock up on “butt glue!” Butt glue is basically grip glue that athletes use for tennis and archery. The stuff is really really sticky and is best if it’s the roll on type. Butt glue also comes in a spray also but that can get a little messy.
What tips do you have for a girl who is walking in her swimwear?
HOLD EVERYTHING IN AND TIGHT! Whenever you walk make sure you’re tightening all your muscles. And when you stop to pose turn your outside leg towards the judges. Also, stand up as straight as you can and just have fun! The swimwear walk is much more bouncy and fun.

I would not recommend taking swimsuit suggestions from this young lady. She in no way represents what Alabama women are. She was born and raised in Florida and is not proud to have the title of Miss Alabama US International because she tells everyone she is Miss. Alabama.
THIS GIRL IS CRAZY!!
