Finding Courage in Pageantry

“If Columbus gave in to his fears , no one would have blamed him. Of course, no one would have remembered him either.” I got this from @Eiro_Fitness on Twitter. How powerful is that?

Are you giving into your fears and sticking with the pretty little pageant Patti routine or are you daring to be yourself? Really that is an internal question that only your gut can decide. What does your gut say?

Are you a Christopher Columbus blazing the way for other pageant queens to follow or are you blending in with the crowd? Oh and just because you win a local, or a state pageant does not mean that you are blazing a trail. :)

With your title in mind,

Is Plastic Surgery a BIG Deal in Beauty Pageants

The media and people surrounding pageants have been making a BIG deal out of beauty queens who have received plastic surgery like they are surprised. Is it really that big of a shocker?

Everything is Enhanced

I mean girls who compete in pageantry if they do not have breast, buy them in either silicone slip in form or the more permanent type of silicone enhancements. Slap on some butt glue, fake eyelashes, spray on tans, weave, and a half a pound of makeup then you have got yourself a potential beauty queen (barring that she can speak intelligently and perform if in the Miss America organization).

Beauty pageants are just that…beauty. These “enhancements” are simply part of the game…like shoulder pads in football or like gloves in baseball. You can’t win in any sport without the right equipment and on pageant planet…beauty enhancements are a required element of competition.

Check out the Singapore beauty who is causing ripples because of her “enhancements” and stunts.
