Taylor Treat has been crowned Miss Oklahoma for 2009. Taylor, competed in the Miss Oklahoma pageant as Miss University of Oklahoma, and earned $16,000 in scholarships when she was crowned as Miss Oklahoma by Kelsey Cartwright, Miss Oklahoma 2008.

Taylor Treat is 21-years-old and her platform is engaging students through service-learning. Treat performed ballet to “Palladio” as her talent. Treat will compete in the Miss America pageant in Las Vegas this coming January.

Other winners in the Miss Oklahoma pageant were: Miss Piedmont, Kimberly Hulsey, first runner-up; Miss Grand Lake Emoly West, second runner-up; Miss Edmond Libertyfest Talia Berning, third runner-up, and Miss Tulsa Damaris Pierce, fourth runner-up.
