I’m sure that u have heard the saying, “Two heads are better than one”. What better way to start off a new year than with a great friend? A pageant buddy is a fellow contestant whom you can journey with to figure things out along the way. Finding a pageant buddy to hold your hand in your journey is not only smart, but fun!
Your Buddy is the person that tells you not to pin on your number, straightens your dress, and tells you that lipstick color is not for you. A second set of eyes can ease your fears about messing up on stage. Here are some other building activities you and your buddy can plan for this year:
1) Hit the Gym!
It’s always easier to meet your weight goal if there is someone to hold you accountable. This way each of you can help Push the other keep going.
2) Choose Wardrobe
Sometimes the things we love to wear don’t love us! It’s ok. Before you make that faux pas, your buddy can help to put you in perspective about what the rest of us see. Don’t forget to split the cost on items you both will use like steamers.
Take some time out on the weekends to make sure that each of you are current on the news both local and national. Bounce questions off one another and review answers.
Nobody can do it all alone. We all could use a little help from our friends and family. When u are backstage, I assure you that having someone in your corner will be a big help. No matter which of you wins, you both can share in your hard-earned victory.
