Often, the largest cost associated with competing in pageantry is the entry fee to even be able to participate in the pageant.
Because of this, many directors and systems are searching for creative ways to help contestants be able to afford entry and be able to compete.
In order to assist contestants in their entry to the pageant, National Elite is hosting a photo contest for at-large titles. (Read: 10 Tips for At-Large Titleholders)
The photo contest is free and open to girls ages babies to 24 years old.
“We will select several winners who will win a free entry to the national pageant,” said Crystal Seidler, National Director.
You will also receive your state crown and banner.
All you have to do is email a headshot or other photo of your choice to email@example.com.
The deadline for photo submissions is March 26th and winners of the free entry to the national pageant will be announced on April 1st.
“We are currently offering state appointed titles/at-large titles to girls ages babies to 24 years of age,” explained Seidler.
Pageant contestants will compete in Fun Fashion, Formal Wear and Personal Interview.
“We encourage each state titleholder to pick a platform and to promote it through community service during her year as a state titleholder,” Seidler said. “And be prepared to talk about it during her personal interview.”
The national pageant will be held June 30th through July 2nd, 2017 in Houston, Texas, at the Hilton Houston Post Oak hotel.
Winners of the photo contest receive their national entry fee and state crown and banner.
National pageant winners receive a national crown and banner and prize package.
“Each national queen will win a cash prize, national photo shoot including hair and makeup, and many fabulous prizes donated by our wonderful sponsors,” Seidler said.
