This vibrant yellow gown completely pops against Mae-Ann’s gorgeous bronzed skin! This photo does not do the gown justice. As soon as she stepped out in this dazzling color, all eyes were on her!
Mae-Ann’s evening gown features a drop waist ball gown silhouette, sweetheart neckline, and overall simplistic design.
A ball gown skirt with an emphasized hem simply floats on top of the stage as she walks. This skirt helps Mae-Ann appear taller on stage.
The bodice features a dramatic sweetheart neckline and drop waist.
A drop waist is incredibly difficult to pull off, and because of that we rarely see it. In Mae-Ann’s case, I don’t love the drop waist on her figure. She has a curvier figure resulting in an off fit around her hips, stopping the fabric from cascading easily down her frame. I would have loved to see this exact gown with a higher waistline on Mae-Ann.

Mae-Ann styled her dark hair in a sleek updo. I love that she chose to style her hair up; however, I would have loved it more if she had styled it in a tighter bun on the top of her head. This would have taken the look to the next level.
She tied her simplistic and elegant look together with statement crystal earrings.
There may have been a few things that Mae-Ann missed the mark on with this look; however, her immense stage presence and stunning natural beauty prevent me from making this look a miss. No matter what gown a contestant is wearing, if she owns it, it’s a HIT in my book!
