The 31st Miss Teen USA pageant was held this past Saturday at the Atlantis Paradise Island in Nausea, Bahamas. All fifty states and the District of Columbia competed for the coveted title, and in the end Cassidy Wolf of California was crowned. The remaining top five, in order, were Tori Sizemore (South Carolina), Haley Holloway (West Virginia), Julia Martin (Georgia), and Maggie McGill (Minnesota).
If you didn’t watch the pageant or missed our twitter updates, here are a few things we had to say about the amazing competition. And if you haven’t done so yet, make sure to go to twitter and follow @PageantPlanet for amazing videos by Steven and updates!
Miss Teen USA Tweets:
“to be honest that was a very solid top 5… really any of those girls would have done a great job, and I truly meant that!”
“Logan is just beautiful. What a warm and fresh personality to have in this world!”
“The art of interaction is so lost in our society sometimes. Let pageantry help you become a master of interaction!”
“WV ties her question into her personal life… love it!”
“South Carolina would be a girl to train from… she knows the ins and outs of this competition like the back of her hand!”
“Wisconsin won evening wear for me… but South Carolina looks ready for the red carpet”
There are many more tweets to catch up on if you haven’t done so yet. I also suggest checking out the pictures and videos on the Miss Teen USA website. My favorite video was the Miss Arizona web interview. I think her answers were too long for an actual interview, but I immediately downloaded the Charity Miles app. My second favorite was Miss Alabama because her last answer was perfect. It was clearly scripted but a great answer.

A cure for cancer. Cancer rates in our country are at an all time high and my family, like so many others, has had to deal with many cases of this horrible disease. There are many precautions we can take to diminish our chances of getting cancer through healthy diets and daily habits. Until we find a cure I will continue living clean and helping others do the same.
