Miss Texas Jr. Teen America 2016 Evening Gown
Elizabeth Schmidt, Miss Texas Jr. Teen America 2016, competed for the title of Miss Jr. Teen America 2016 in this charming bright blue evening gown! Elizabeth captured the judge’s hearts and landed a spot in the top 10.
The way this bright shade of blue pops on Elizabeth’s fair skin tone is absolutely stunning. Paired with her dark brown hair, this look is extremely eye-catching.
The lighter blue and soft white colors of the stage backdrop amplify the dimensionality of the entire look.

Elizabeth’s evening gown presents an A-line silhouette, chiffon skirt, intricately detailed cap sleeves, and a crystal accented waistband wrapping around her natural waist.
The flowing A-line skirt gives the dress amazing movement as she walks across the stage and a presence second to none.
I absolutely the bodice of this gown. It is simple yet elegant. It gives Elizabeth’s overall look the perfect amount of glam and complements her petite frame. It truly allows her to stand out under the stage lights.
The crystal detailed elements add the perfect hints of sparkle, complementing her overall look.

Elizabeth embraced a soft glam styling look. Her brunette locks are styled in soft loose curls. The looser curls throughout the tips of her hair definitely accent the intended look perfectly.
With such a simplistic design, I would have loved to see a larger crystal earring on Elizabeth. It would have taken her look to the next level. It also would have drawn more attention up to her beautiful face.
Aside from one minor styling suggestion, Elizabeth’s evening gown is flattering, age-appropriate and eye-catching. This gown is a HIT! Great choice, Elizabeth.
