Pageant Question About The Craziest Thing You Have Done
Today’s Pageant Question of the Day is: What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
Why this question was asked: This answer is meant to catch you off guard and demonstrate your ability to think of an answer quickly. It is also a great way to put personality into your interview!
This is how some of our Instagram followers answered the question:
Radiah (ms.radiah): Several years ago, I loaned some of my pageant wardrobe to a lady that I had just met. She was competing in the Miss New York pageant. Well, after the pageant she stopped returning my calls, texts and emails so I drove from southern Maryland to the suburbs of New York to retrieve my clothes!
Marisa (mariisabee): The craziest thing I’ve ever done was tagging Sharks with NOAA’s cooperative tagging program. Part of the job was running out into the surf the shark was reeled into, removing the hook, taking a measurement, determining the gender, and then the real scary part: the release. I had to swim out to waist-deep water with a shark to make sure it swims off safely without taking any souvenirs like a finger or two with them!
Meghan (ms.world.2017): While leading at a national high school camp, I entered a mayonnaise eating contest because they needed a female leader to participate. I ended up winning the contest by inhaling an entire jar of mayonnaise on stage in front of 600 high school students and their leaders.
Our favorite answer:
Rebecca (misscarboncounty_wy): One of the craziest things I liked to do in college was walk around campus after my theatrical makeup class without washing my face. I did it after almost every assignment, but the best was zombie day. I had to go to the financial aid office to ask about a scholarship, and the worker was so calm for a solid minute before finally asking what was wrong with my face. I had skin hanging off, blood dripping from my mouth, the works, but I loved showing off my makeup skills and making a few people on campus smile along the way!
The judges would like this answer the best because she tells a story and her answer is unique and personal. (Read: Pageant Question About Facing Fears)
